Outlook

This section will include articles on using Microsoft Outlook. In addition to email articles, we will also include Outlook's other components such as calendar, tasks, notes and so on. Outlook has captured much of the corporate market with many companies relying on its features. In addition, there are many individuals who use Outlook at home. However, there are differences between the versions. Some products or services we review may only work on one of the configurations. A business or enterprise user tends to use Outlook with a Microsoft Exchange Server. Their version displays (CW) when they go to the Help|About menu. In contrast, most home users don't use an exchange server, but their ISP's mail servers. This version is known as (IMO) for Internet Mail Only. The main difference is the CW version allows for more integration of information between users such as shared calendars and folders. |
