There are certain universal laws about Pocket PCs. One of these is ActiveSync will stop working for some unknown reason. Although you can try to resolve the issue yourself, the better option is to leverage the experience of some experts in this area. We've got two excellent sites that you'll want to bookmark.

One of the PocketPC's main advantages is ActiveSync. This is the program that seamlessly moves data from Outlook and your PC to your Pocket PC. When it works, it's wonderful. But, the program has a tendency for not working leading to various nicknames such as "ActiveStink".

When the program stops working, you can spend too much time diagnosing the problem. If you're lucky, a soft reset of the device will clear the problem. At first, I tried to resolve these issues on my own, but then found some great resources by Chris De Herrera and Beverly Howard. I'm always thankful when people have documented known issues and solutions.

Both of these people offer websites with ActiveSync troubleshooting tips. Of the two, I prefer Chris De Herrera's site because of the depth. He also posts the date the web page changed. Beverly's site also contains good material and is worth a bookmark.

If neither site has addressed your problem, you might try the following queries.
