I made some changes to the Privacy Policy this week. Nothing earth shattering, but I thought I would provide more details. You may have noticed that on the right side I have some new advertisements. Some of these are affiliate ads.

In the Privacy Policy under the Information Use section, I list the companies, which are displaying ads. My intent is to update the listing so you can see my relationships with these companies. In some cases, the relationship is direct. In others, I may be going through an affiliate network.

If you’ve been a long time reader, you know this is a big change for me, as I’ve not allowed affiliate representation. I’m not comfortable with reviewing products where compensation is involved.

Unlike the Google ads, I have control over which ads show. I’ve chosen the companies. These are companies where I have demoed or used their products. They are also companies I’m comfortable in recommending. Moreover, I wanted to select products or services readers would be inclined to use.
