At the repeated requests of some of our previous newsletter subscribers, were adding a
feature to the site. If you look to the left side, you should see a box labeled Weekly Updates.
If you enter your email address, well send you an email about the newest articles.
Although I'm an advocate of RSS, I realize that it isn't everybody's cup of tea. Some people still prefer to read emails. Its a medium they're most familiar with and use. We started testing some services that could send these updates and decided to use Zookoda. The sign up process is very easy, but uses a double-opt in for your protection. This ensures that no one is signing you up for something you didn't want. To sign up for the weekly email update, 1. Fill in your email address in the Weekly Update section on the left. 2. Click the Subscribe button. You will then see a web page that informs you a verification link was sent to that address. 3. Go to your inbox and look for the verification email. The verification email will be from Zookoda's support address. 4. Click the verification link in the email. That's it! Each week, you'll get an email update containing the lead paragraphs from that weeks stories. To see the full article, you click the story title which will open the web page.
